Bullocky Rest

Overlooking Lake Samsonvale, Bullocky Rest is a popular park for all gatherings, featuring a playground, plenty of picnic shelters and barbecues as well as a toilet block and ample parking.

Cast the line out from the shore and you might catch a native fish, Australian Bass, Yellow Belly, Mary River Cod, Snub Nose Gar and Saratoga. A permit is required. Stroll along the shore following the walking trail linking the picnic areas at Bullocky Rest and Forgan Cove.

The kids will love the wide-open grassed areas and a playground featuring a slide and climbing equipment.
