Picture your family conquering the challenges together, creating unforgettable holiday memories. Featuring a giant slide, swings, trampolines, wiggle bridges and more, the course has been designed to create lots of thrills and hilarious spills. Families can choose from a single pass (50 minutes) or a double pass (two hours).

Dry off and jump in the car for a five-minute drive to one of Redcliffe’s most popular watering holes- The Belvedere Hotel. Imagine a sun-drenched deck, panoramic ocean views, and a "Seafood Hamper" presented in a copper bucket, overflowing with Moreton Bay Bugs, prawns, and other delicacies. This is dining with a view! The menu also includes salads, burgers, meat from the grill, pizza, kid’s meals, dessert options and more, which is sure to satisfy everyone’s cravings.

Just as the hit song says, every visitor to Redcliffe’s iconic Bee Gees Way should be dancing when they visit this open-air museum that honours the Gibb Brothers, better known as the Bee Gees. Redcliffe’s very own legends have been immortalised in this 70m walkway which is adorned with murals of the Gibb brothers, as well as photographs, album covers and snippets of their lives. As the sun sets, the walkway transforms into an outdoor disco, with lights dancing to the band's iconic hits. Capture a family photo with the life-size statue, and dance to the beat.

Start your day with a delicious breakfast at Café Diversity. Imagine sipping freshly brewed coffee while the kids enjoy decadent waffles or hearty breakfast burgers, all within a short stroll from your hotel. Favourites include bacon and eggs, brekky burgers, old-fashioned French toast, and banana bread waffles, which come complete with chocolate hazelnut ganache and whipped cream. Since calories don’t count on holidays, are you tempted to try the deep-fried Mars Bar?

Embark on a memorable whale-watching cruise with Brisbane Whale Watching. Witness majestic humpback whales breaching and playing in Moreton Bay, guided by the Owner/Operator/Captain, Kerry Lopez. This is a nature-based experience that your family will never forget. Your captain for this 5.5-hour sail, Captain Kerry, is recognised as the only female captain to own and operate a whale watching venture in the South Pacific rim. Captain Kerry knows all the best spots, so it won’t be long before you witness these majestic creatures breaching high out of the water, slapping their tails, or waving their fins, which we like to think is them waving hello to us! Ensure your phone and camera batteries are charged to capture these incredible moments. Every passenger will also receive a gourmet picnic lunch box. Tours are run daily from July to October from 9:30am-3pm. If you’re visiting outside of whale season, an alternative day tour option is with Dolphin Wild Island Cruises – for an eco-safari snorkel tour to the Tangalooma Wrecks on Moreton Island.
After a day out on the water, if the kids still have energy to spare, take a refreshing swim at Redcliffe’s Settlement Cove Lagoon, a four-minute walk from the dock. Kids will have a blast pretending they are pirates or mermaids in this 95m tropical seafront pool, which is a popular spot for families. The lagoon features sandy bays, different wading zones – catering to all swimming abilities – an island in the centre of the lagoon, and a miniature river and riverbed, where kids can splash around to their heart’s content. If you have little ones, there is also a separate fenced-off pool area with mushroom fountains and squirting lizards. The lagoon is open all year round (what’s winter?) to enjoy a paddle and splash. Afterwards, you only need to cross the road to head back to your room to freshen up.

Enjoy a fun-filled dinner at Yabbey Road. This delightful name is a play on words for Abbey Road, with the owners creating a unique restaurant inspired by the English rock band, The Beatles. The Beatles theme is spread everywhere throughout the shop – from the music to the memorabilia on the walls, the yellow submarine behind the counter, a life-size cutout of John Lennon, and even an Abbey Road-style crossing out the front. Yabbey Road serves up traditional English fish and chips, as well as burgers, wraps, salads and more to curb your hunger. You can dine in or head to one of the many picnic tables and benches across the road near the Redcliffe Jetty.

Cap off the night with some friendly competition at Redcliffe’s epic entertainment precinct, Undersea Putt and Play. No matter your age, mini golf is always a hole lot of fun (see what we did there!). Featuring 18 holes, players will putt their way around the seabed and encounter animals such as great white sharks, whales, fish, crocodiles, a giant squid, mermaids, pirates and more. There’s even a glow-in-the-dark room to add to the excitement. The venue also features an arcade with more than 30 old-school favourite games, such as air hockey and pinball, and a café and bar should you get the munchies. Undersea Putt and Play is just a stone’s throw away from your hotel.

Kickstart your day with a relaxing breakfast at your hotel, before jumping in the car and heading out on a day trip to explore more of Moreton Bay. Bask in the sunshine at The Komo’s outdoor dining area as you polish off a smashed avo on toast, Komo breaky board, breaky burrito or the decadent crumpet stack. For little bellies, there’s a mini crumpet stack that includes fairy floss or bacon and eggs.

After a short hour's drive to the Moreton Bay hinterland, your first stop is at the Lyell Deer Sanctuary, an educational and magical family attraction at Mount Samson. While visiting this peaceful little hideaway, you can’t help but feel like you’re in a Disney movie, especially as you cuddle, sit with and hand feed the deer, coupled with the serene forest setting. The adorable animals are very curious and love meeting new people, so it’s easy to lose yourself in all the ‘aww’ moments.

When it’s time for a bite to eat, it’s just a 15-minute drive to one of Moreton Bay’s favourite pubs, the Samford Hotel. Dine on delicious pub favourites like chicken parmy or steak cooked to perfection. With their kiddo-approved lunch options of cheeseburger or fish and chips!
No stopping now, stroll across to the Samford Historical Museum. On your guided tour you can learn of yesteryear’s local banana plantations and the tragic camp mountain train accident of 1947.

Witches and wizards of all ages will feel like they have stepped into Moreton Bay’s version of Diagon Alley with a visit to The Store of Requirement – just a skip across the road. The beaten-up blue car, which Ron and Harry illegally flew to Hogwarts greets you at the front door and makes for some amazing photo opportunities (Accio camera!). Then step inside this magical realm where the talking Sorting Hat will place you in your designated house (not Slytherin!), quench your thirst with a delicious glass of butterbeer, or try your luck with some Bertie Botts Every Flavour Beans (alas, earwax). Fans young and old will be left spellbound with the array of wands, costumes, magic potions, toys, clothing, games, puzzles, collectables and more to take home with you. The Owlery Cafe next door is a great stop for an afternoon snack too.

Wrap up your day trip to Samford by visiting the township’s many other specialty stores, which sell an array of unique homewares, fashion, antiques and more. The Slab Hut Gallery, Kakadu Organics, and Little Tree Bakehouse are must visits! Then it’s time to pile into the car to make your way back to the hotel.

One of the peninsula’s best fine-dining restaurants is a 10-minute drive from your hotel in the nearby suburb of Scarborough. Offering waterfront dining and the freshest seafood direct from the trawlers, Tempest Seafood Restaurant and Teppanyaki Grill is not to be missed. The restaurant’s internationally trained chefs will transform the grill into a stage by effortlessly flipping their utensils and ingredients right before your eyes to create a flavoursome dish your tastebuds will love. They even get diners involved in the fun with the chefs asking you to hold out your bowls to catch your dinner.
Boat Harbour, Bird Opassage Parade, Scarborough
The last day of holidays is always a good excuse to have a sleep-in. When you’re ready to venture out of the room, the Redcliffe Markets is the place to be. Held every weekend along the picturesque Redcliffe Peninsula, this iconic seaside marketplace is a Sunday institution with locals and visitors alike. With so much to see and do, you won’t know where to begin. Kids can start off by getting their face painted, then pat the farmyard animals at the petting zoo, sing and dance along with the buskers and professional musicians or bounce as high as they can in the jumping castle. With more than 230 stalls to browse, the markets are a great place for adults to find themselves a bargain, and for the kids to spend their remaining pocket money. There are stalls for fashion, jewellery, homewares, fresh produce, meats and more, as well as an array of delicious food trucks and vendors serving up a variety of delicacies. As a bonus, you don’t have to worry about parking, as you can simply walk from your hotel.

After checking out of your hotel, head down to Scarborough, which is a seven-minute drive to Pirate Park, where the kids can run around and play. The playground is a popular spot for young families, and boasts a pirate ship, train and jumping pillow, perfect for letting their little imaginations run wild. Will they roam the high seas or take part in a train robbery? Only they can answer that question. At the other end of the playground, kids can put their climbing skills to the test by scaling the Cotton Wood Trees. An array of cafes for all taste buds can be found along the avenue with water views to die for.
