Symphony Crescent Park | Burpengary

hero code

Set in the quiet suburban streets of Burpengary, Symphony Crescent Park is full of hidden treasures. With its climbing equipment, swings and extensive pathways, this playground is a wonderful spot to host a birthday party or mothers’ group catch-up. It’s also a great spot to finish off a pedal on your bike around the network or trails and footpaths. Moreton Region does the best parks near Brisbane, and Symphony Crescent is no exception!

Climb and swing on Symphony Crescent!

Symphony Crescent Park is a climbing, swinging delight, catering for toddlers onwards, with a baby swing for the littlies. Older children will love the diversity of the play equipment to challenge their strength and agility.

Teaching road rules

Symphony Crescent Park offers a wonderful opportunity to introduce children to road rules and signage with a delightful traffic track around the playground. With Give Way signs and an interlinking network of concrete paths suitable for scooters and bikes, children will have a wonderful time playing traffic controllers, police officers and bus drivers. Take a notepad and pencil so you can ‘write out a ticket’ for breaking road rules.

Teens not forgotten

Teens are not forgotten at Symphony Crescent Park, with a half basketball court available to shoot some hoops, along with space to play team sports and ride BMX bikes.

Nature exploration at Symphony Crescent Park

Backing onto the Burpengary waterways network, there is ample opportunity to nature hunt along the causeways. Go tadpole and bird spotting. Listen out for native animals living in the park, like crickets and frogs. Splash around in puddles with your gumboots after a rainy day.

Great option for fitness enthusiasts

Symphony Crescent Park is part of a wider network of connecting parklands in Burpengary along the suburb’s natural waterways. With paved footpaths connecting Pitt Road, Bellini Road, Station Road and Crendon Street, the park is ideal for walking, scooting and cycling. Dog owners are especially well catered for, with a fenced dog park located at the Crendon Street entry. Give furry friends a little run around before stepping out for a serious morning walk. Moreton Region loves dogs and Symphony Crescent is just one of our parks near Brisbane that caters to the four legged family member! Find cool dog parks and beaches in Moreton here.

General facilities at the park

While unfenced, the park is covered with shade sails and is located in a quiet suburban street. There is a council BBQ and picnic area available for those wanting to entertain in the park, along with water bubblers for active, thirsty children. Toilet facilities are very close to the main playground and have a concrete path leading to them, making for easier wheelchair and pram access. With its considerable pathway network and off street parking, including a disability car park, Symphony Crescent Park is suitable for all ages.

For bikeways and playgrounds for all ages, put Symphony Crescent Park on your activity list this weekend. Share your adventure #visitmoretonbayregion
